PDC4PM was founded by Dr. Peter Tsai, Dr. Ralph Kirby, and Dr. Mark Dunnenberger in order to solve the problem of Precision Medicine for Asians. The fact that most genomics research has focused on Western populations has lead to a gap in knowledge regarding how genetic diseases affect Asians. PDC4PM is creating an Asian-focused genomic dataset and conducting research with the aim of developing personalized Precision Medicine for Asians.
